Francis Johnson Regional Manager/West Bay

As Regional Manager, Francis has full responsibility of managing the revenue and profitability targets set for the West Bay region while driving business development and providing leadership to his staff during the upfront analysis, estimating and actual constructing of projects.  Francis will also be heavily focused on building the capabilities of the region by coaching, mentoring and developing our current staff and recruiting talented employees that will be needed as the region grows.  Lastly, Francis will supervise the administration of the Foster City office, including the facilitation of frequent communications with our Livermore headquarters.

Francis possesses more than 22 years of construction experience in the public and private sectors.  Most recently, he held the position of Senior Estimator/Project Manager at Top Grade's home office in Livermore. His accomplishments during his tenure included such projects as: Santana Row, San Jose - Agnews State Hospital, San Jose - Microsoft Headquarters Campus, Mountain View - Hewlett-Packard Headquarters Campus, Cupertino - Metcalf Energy Center, San Jose - Terrace Drive Estates, Napa - Biomed Realty Trust, Newark - Moffett Towers and Lockheed Martin, Sunnyvale.

Prior to that, Francis held an Estimator/Project Manager position with O.C. Jones and Sons where he estimated and managed various types of civil construction projects.   He started his career with Oliver DeSilva as a Junior Estimator.

Francis holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Engineering with Distinction from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.

A Washington D.C. native, he resides in Danville with his wife and daughter.  He spends his free time golfing, traveling and spending time with family.
