John Copriviza Regional Vice President/Central Valley

As Regional Vice President, John has full responsibility of managing the revenue and profitability targets set for the Central Valley region while driving business development and providing leadership to his staff during the upfront analysis, estimating and actual constructing of projects.  John will also be heavily focused on building the capabilities of the region by coaching, mentoring and developing our current staff and recruiting talented employees that will be needed as the region grows.  Lastly, John will supervise the administration of the Stockton office, including the facilitation of frequent communications with our Livermore headquarters.

John possesses more than 28 years of construction experience, including 17 years of intimate knowledge of the Central Valley market, and some strong existing customer relationships. 

Most recently, he held the position of Director of Project Management at DSS Company in Stockton where he was responsible for driving business development while managing the estimating and take-off staff.  His accomplishments during his four years included increasing volume by more than 85% while helping the company achieve its most profitable three-year stretch. 

Prior to DSS, John held various estimating management positions with Warren Gomes Excavating and Teichert Construction. 

Earlier in his career, John honed his estimating talent while holding positions with RC Collet and O.C. Jones & Sons.  John began his career with Guy F. Atkinson Company as a Cost/Scheduling Engineer.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and an MBA from the College of Notre Dame.

A California native, he resides in Woodbridge with his wife and three sons. He spends his free time golfing, exercising and enjoying the outdoors (kayaking and fishing).
