Kelly Turner
Senior Director/Field Services

As Senior Director of Field Services, Kelly oversees and manages Top Grade’s Shop Operations, Dispatch, Health and Safety, the Private Works Paving Department, Equipment Resource Management as well as the standardization of field processes and training.
With more than 20 years of construction experience, Kelly’s vast employment experience provides a depth of industry knowledge. Turner’s accomplishments include involvement in a variety of projects in many different industries, including: The San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor in Irvine, CA, The 101/85 North Interchange project in San Jose, CA, the National Ignition Facility at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA, the 7th/Flower Metro Station in Los Angeles, CA, the North First Street upgrades in the City of Livermore, CA to name just a few.
Prior to joining Top Grade, Turner spent time most recently with Pavex Construction (a division of GraniteRock Company out of Watsonville) where he was a Senior Project Manager. Prior to Pavex, Kelly held roles of Senior Project Manager, Senior Construction Manager and Senior Estimator with Dillingham Construction’s Heavy Division and Nielsen Dillingham Builders out of Pleasanton, CA.
Turner got his start with Granite Construction Company where he began his career as a project engineer and field engineer and eventually working his way into an estimating role.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UC Berkeley. He also holds a Professional Engineers license in the State of California as well as General Engineering and General Building licenses.
A California native, Turner resides in Tracy with his wife Garnet and his children Katie and Tanner.
