Reza Yazdi Vice President & General Manager Public Works

As Vice President and General Manager of Top Grade’s Public Works division, Reza is responsible for the revenue and profitability targets set for the Public Works division while managing the estimating and business development efforts. Reza will also be heavily focused on building the capabilities of the department by coaching, mentoring and developing our current staff and recruiting talented employees that will be needed as the division grows. 

Yazdi, A Top Grade veteran, possesses more than 25 years of construction experience, with responsibilities ranging from estimating and managing various public works projects totaling over $40 million in annual revenues.

Most recently, he held the position of Chief Estimator with Top Grade Construction. Reza has secured a number of high profile projects throughout his career, including: The Benicia Bridge - Benicia, Route 237 – Milpitas, Route 880 – Milpitas, Route 85 – Saratoga, 880 at Hilltop – Richmond, Hegenberger Road - Oakland, Castro Street – Richmond as well as projects at the Oakland and San Francisco airports.

Prior to joining Top Grade, Yazdi spent time with Bauman Landscape where he held roles of Chief Estimator and Project Manager. Prior to that Reza was an Estimator with DeSilva Gates Construction. Reza also held the role of Senior Estimator with Gallagher and Burk and began his career with Piombo Corporation.

Reza holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
