Scott Blaine Senior Vice President/CFO

As Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Blaine directs the organization’s financial, human resources and information technology departments for Top Grade.

Blaine has more than 20 years of finance experience in a variety of industries ranging from high-tech to construction. During his career, Blaine has been involved in general management, accounting, financial planning and analysis, risk management as well as business development and business planning.

Most recently, Scott was the Northern California Area Director of Finance with Pulte Homes, Inc. In addition to providing financial controllership to the organization, he analyzed land acquisition deals, streamlined processes and developed metrics to drive business productivity.  

Prior to Pulte, Scott worked in the high tech industry for large companies such as Nokia, Alcatel, and General Electric and was instrumental in raising capital for a high tech start up.  Holding many roles ranging from CFO/VP Finance to General Manager/Head of Business and Strategy Development, Scott developed high performance management teams and created scalable processes for high growth business environments.  He drove business planning, mergers and acquisitions and equity funding.  

Scott started his career with General Electric in their highly competitive Financial Management Training Program working around the country and the world.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with minors in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Colorado.  

Blaine resides in Pleasanton with his wife and two children.  He enjoys numerous outdoor activities and is an avid skier, scuba diver and tennis player.
