Our benefits are designed to promote immediate and long-term health, success, and satisfaction for you and your family. We offer comprehensive and balanced benefits that include the following:

Medical Plan: TGC offers Blue Cross PPO and HMO plans as well as a Kaiser HMO Medical Plan, with a range of deductible options and minimal co-payments, covering physician services, prescription drugs plans with LabOne /Quest Diagnostics, and hospital services. Filice Insurance handles all of our plan administration.

Vision Plan: TGC Vision Plan covers annual exams, lenses and frames every year, and both elective and visually necessary services – with full benefits to VSP providers and partial benefits to non-VSP providers.

Dental Plan: TGC Dental PPO Plan, offered through MetLife, covers preventive and basic procedures (e.g., basic root canals, silver fillings, scaling, etc.), as well as major procedures (e.g., crowns, implants/bridges, full/partial dentures and repairs).  TGC Dental PPO Plan, offered through MetLife, covers Preventive Procedures at 100%, Basic Procedures at 80%, and Major Procedures are covered at 50%.  The PPO plan has an annual $50 deductible per person (3 per family), and a $2,000 annual benefit maximum.

401 (K) Plan: The TGC 401(K) Plan has been established to provide greater financial security to our employees and their families. You are eligible to contribute to the plan, after successfully completing three months of employment, during the next quarter's open enrollment. Money, that would otherwise be paid to you as taxable income, may be directed by you into your 401(K) plan as a salary deferral contribution. Earnings on these contributions will accumulate on a tax-deferred basis. In addition, TGC provides a 50% match of your contribution up to 6% of your total compensation.

Disability (STD/LTD) Plan: The TGC Disability plan is designed to provide you with income in the event you become totally disabled and remain disabled for more than 90 days.  You can receive up to 66 2/3% of weekly earnings for the first 39 weeks, and up to 66 2/3% of monthly earnings, up to $6000 per month thereafter.

Life Benefit Plan: In the event of your death, your beneficiary will receive an amount equal to 1X your annual salary.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment Plan: If your death is the result of an accident, your beneficiary will receive an additional benefit amount equal to your life insurance.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Section 125 Plans: A flexible spending account is an employer-sponsored benefit under IRS section 125. FSAs utilize employee salary reduction for pre-taxed reimbursement of qualified incurred expenses. The two types of accounts include Medical Reimbursement and/or Dependent Care Reimbursement.

Profit Sharing: At the discretion of TGC, all employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement are eligible for profit sharing. One portion of the profit sharing pool is placed in employees' 401(k) accounts. The other portion is distributed to employees based upon individual performance at the end of the fiscal year. The size of the profit sharing pool depends upon the financial performance of the organization. TGC has paid profit sharing in every year of its existence.

Continuing Education: TGC Construction offers reimbursement for seminars and courses on a case-by-case basis after considering the personal growth and company benefits.
